Dynamic Programming for the Partitioning of Numerical Simulations with Hybrid Computer Applications

چکیده
The principle of dynamic programming is used to develop a digital computer software package for determining for each of several subsystems the optimal numerical integration algorithm from among given candidate techniques. As by-products, the corresponding optimal step sizes and error contributions of the subsystems are provided to the user. The deveiloped program minimizes subsystem sum-squared errors subject to the constraint that the total time available for executing all subsystem integrations is specified in advance. After the basic concept of dynamic programming has been reviewed briefly, the details of the computer software package are presented. Numerical results are given for two examples, including a limited hybrid partitioning problem for a six-degree-of-freedom air-defense missile simulation. Finally, general Manuscript received September 27, 1971; revised June 5, 1972. This work was performed in the Guidance and Control Directorate of the Research, Development, Engineering and Missile Systems Laboratory, U.S. Army Missile Command, Redstone Arsenal, Ala., under the ARO/D Army Laboratory Research Cooperative Program, Contract DAHC0468-C-001 1. Experimental and numerical crashworthiness investigation of hybrid composite aluminum tubes under dynamic axial and oblique loadings
This research deals with axial and oblique impact crash tests on simple and hybrid composite tubes. Axial and oblique impact tests have been generated on simple and hybrid composite tubes with one, two and three layers. A drop test rig was used to conduct the experiments. Furthermore, in order to gain more detailed knowledge about the crash process, finite element simulations of the experim...

Hybrid system is a dynamic system that exhibits both continuous and discrete dynamic behavior. The hybrid differential equations have a wide range of applications in science and engineering. The hybrid systems are devoted to modeling, design, and validation of interactive systems of computer programs and continuous systems. Hybrid fuzzy differential equations (HFDEs) is considered by ...
متن کاملA Hybrid Dynamic Programming for Inventory Routing Problem in Collaborative Reverse Supply Chains
Inventory routing problems arise as simultaneous decisions in inventory and routing optimization. In the present study, vendor managed inventory is proposed as a collaborative model for reverse supply chains and the optimization problem is modeled in terms of an inventory routing problem. The studied reverse supply chains include several return generators and recovery centers and one collection...
متن کاملA two-stage stochastic programming model for the optimal sizing of hybrid PV/diesel/battery in hybrid electric ship system
Ships play the major role in bulk transportation and they need their special energy system. This paper proposes a stochastic programing method for optimal sizing of a hybrid ship power system with energy storage system (ESS), photovoltaic power (PV) and diesel generator. To account for uncertainties, in this study a two-stage stochastic mixed-integer non-linear programing is used to model the o...
